Back at last

Well, we had a great week packed with friends and family but at the same time relaxing. I am going to give you all the warning to NEVER go Ohio, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL route. A co-worker strongly suggested that way to me so I thought sure we can do that on the way home. Not only was it 3 hours longer it was full of toll roads, never ending hills, fog, EMPTY highways, and we were in OHIO FOREVER! Not recommended, just gut it out and go straight south (IN, KY, TN, GA, FL). One thing can be said though, our dog has been to many states now.

But lets start at the beginning of the trip.


First day back to Kzoo we headed over to Lansing to see Christie, Tiny,& Keller before they headed over to Iowa for a missions trip. This is Me, Christie, and Mom in front of Christie's house.



Then the (officer) "Best Man" and "Maid of Honor" came over the next day, along with other family, to Pops and Grams for a BBQ and bonfire. (enter mosquitoes)



We toasted some mallows for s'mores while trying to not get eaten alive by the bugs, but the weather was great.



Booger had fun on the lake on Pops and Grams pontoon boat.

Got the group back together for some fun times at New Holland Brewery, so I could enjoy their company and the raspberry cider (but they were out and I am still quite upset about that!)



The last day there Dad and Greg went out for a 2 hour bike ride. Came back smelling like old shoes!


That was our trip in a nutshell, fun times with family and friends!
